TEDDY THE DOG

Teddy the Dog is Ernest's best friend & travels with Ernest through all of his adventures. Most of the boats in the Ernest series are based on real boats that have existed on Sydney Harbour throughout the last century. Teddy is also based on a real dog ... the real Teddy (although a little older than the Teddy in the book) is happy, energetic & very inquisitive. Here is Teddy reading about his adventure with Jesse the Elephant.

INTRODUCING THE ADVENTURES OF ERNEST LITTLE TUG - BOOK 1 "JESSE THE ELEPHANT"

The series of books is known as the “Adventures of Ernest Little Tug” and all stories are based on historical events on Sydney Harbour over the past 100 years, many of which would long be forgotten if never brought to life by these books. The first book in the series is the story of Jesse the elephant who was being relocated from the old Moore Park Zoo to Taronga Zoo in 1916 and was walked through Sydney city and then transported by punt ferry across the harbour.

Apart from the captivating storyline and brilliant illustrations, the book also contains a brief account of the true story with archival photographs of the event. This link to history is a whole new concept for children’s books.

Ernest will appear in your bookshops soon & is available to purchase online http://sphereshop.com.au/_catalog_56976/Young_Adult_and_Children's
